Media: Hong Kong will issue stablecoin licenses to HSBC, Standard Chartered, and OSL.

According to the report cited by Sing Tao Daily, HSBC, Standard Chartered Bank, and Hong Kong-based virtual asset trading platform OSL will be among the first companies to obtain a Hong Kong stablecoin license. The report states that the list could be announced as early as next week, but it has not been finalized yet and could still change. The Hong Kong Monetary Authority stated that they do not comment on market rumors.
