African stock market closing report: On Wednesday, the South African FTSE/JSE Africa Top 40 Tradable Index fell by 1.99% to just under 10,950 points. The Mauritius Stock Exchange SEMDEX index rose by 0.02%, the Nigerian Stock Exchange All Share Index fell by 0.09%, and the Nairobi Securities Exchange All Share Index rose by 0.73%.
