Over the past week, the average price of gasoline in the United States has increased by a total of 38 cents, and over the past month, it has gone up by 64 cents, the largest weekly and monthly increase since early March 2022. The conflict between Russia and Ukraine led Western countries to impose widespread sanctions on this major oil-producing country, causing significant fluctuations in oil prices.
