The average price of gasoline in the United States has risen to the highest level in over 21 months.

The latest data from the American Automobile Association shows that gasoline prices have once again increased by 4 cents per gallon, with the national average price rising to $3.58 per gallon, the highest level in over 21 months. Over the past week, the average price of gasoline in the United States has increased by a total of 38 cents, and over the past month, it has gone up by 64 cents, the largest weekly and monthly increase since early March 2022. The conflict between Russia and Ukraine led Western countries to impose widespread sanctions on this major oil-producing country, causing significant fluctuations in oil prices. On a monthly basis, gasoline prices have risen by approximately 22% compared to a month ago.
