A Thai cargo ship was attacked and caught fire in the Strait of Hormuz.

The Thai navy issued a statement saying that a Thai cargo ship was attacked while sailing in the Strait of Hormuz on the 11th. Currently, 20 crew members have been rescued and taken to safety in Oman. The attacked ship belongs to the Thai company Precious Shipping and is named "Marella Explorer." The ship departed from Khalifa Port in the UAE early on the 11th and was attacked around 11 am in the waters of the Strait of Hormuz. According to Thai media reports, the attack caused a fire at the stern of the ship. Upon receiving the report, the Thai navy immediately coordinated rescue efforts. At present, the Omani navy has rescued 20 Thai crew members and taken them to safety in the city of Khasab, Oman. Relevant departments are currently working on rescuing the remaining 3 crew members.
