Recently, at the edge of the Milky Way galaxy 45,000 light-years away from us, a epic cosmic collision was captured by humans. Astronomers not only witnessed the extreme destruction and compression here, but also discovered a pair of "baby star clusters" that had just been born. Researchers from the Astronomy Department of Southwest University named this cosmic twin pair "Emei." This discovery was published in the international academic journal "Nature Astronomy" on March 11th.
