The Minister of Social Affairs in Lebanon announced that there are approximately 780,000 displaced persons in the country.
On the 11th local time, Lebanese Minister of Social Affairs, Raya El Hassan, announced at the Baabda Palace that there are currently approximately 780,000 displaced persons nationwide, with around 120,000 living in official resettlement sites. She also added that the capital Beirut and the areas in the mountains of Lebanon are under the most pressure. She has reported the emergency plan to address the displaced crisis to President Michel Aoun.
