The Shangtai Group has increased the capacity of trains and plans to add 102 passenger trains and expand 38 high-speed train sets to meet the demand for passenger travel. Among them, there will be 49 direct passenger trains mainly for long-distance passengers from Sichuan, Chongqing, Hunan, Shanxi, Henan and other regions to major cities in the Yangtze River Delta; 53 local passenger trains mainly for short-distance passengers from Fuyang, Bengbu, Xuzhou and other cities to Shanghai, Hangzhou, Hefei and other cities.
