Wei Li, Nios CEO: I am very confident in achieving 40-50% growth for the whole year.
William Li, founder, chairman, and CEO of NIO, spoke frankly during the financial report conference call, stating that the Chinese passenger car market poses significant challenges in the first quarter of this year, with a slight decline compared to last year. However, he believes that the growth of pure electric vehicles is very strong, driving the overall growth of new energy vehicles last year. This year, pure electric vehicles will continue to maintain a relatively fast growth rate. He introduced that NIO will develop three new models this year, with the flagship ES9 SUV based on the technology administrative platform set to be launched in the second quarter, the large five-seater SUV based on the new ES8 platform set to be launched in the third quarter, and the L80 set to be launched in the second quarter. "In addition to the L90 and the newly popular ES8, the five mid to large-sized SUVs lay a solid foundation for this year's overall sales growth." Li Bin added. "NIO's current product rhythm matches the market development trends, and we are very confident in achieving a 40%-50% growth for the year." Li Bin emphasized.
