He suggested that the rise in gas prices may be due to "the regime there" closing the Strait of Hormuz, adding "the Strait of Hormuz will reopen in a few weeks and gas prices will fall." Johnson continued, "So this is just a temporary fluctuation in the extraordinary trend of the United States returning to energy dominance. The evidence is clear and will continue to prove this point."
