Traders say Total's Totsa sold April-loading Oman crude at the highest premium in years.

Total's Asian trading department, Totsa, sold April shipment of Omani crude oil through bidding, with a premium of more than $20 per barrel over Dubai's quoted price. Traders said this is the second time Total has bid to sell Middle Eastern oil since the interruption of exports in the region due to the Iran war. In this bidding, Total proposed to load up to 2 million barrels of Omani crude oil at the Fahl port in Oman from April 1 to 30, and the bidding ended on Monday. Last week, Total sold 1 million barrels of Omani crude oil scheduled for April shipment to ExxonMobil at a premium of $7 per barrel over Dubai's quoted price.
