In the European market at the close on Monday, the yield on German 10-year government bonds fell by 0.1 basis points to 2.859%. It traded in a range of 2.928% to 2.853% during the day, opening higher but then giving back its gains. The yield on 2-year German bonds rose by 0.6 basis points to 2.318%, trading in a range of 2.466% to 2.309% during the day. The yield on 30-year German bonds rose by 0.5 basis points to 3.428%. The yield spread between 2-year and 10-year German bonds fell by 1.101 basis points to +53.359 basis points.
