Croatia will implement temporary price control measures on gasoline and other fuels.
The Croatian government announced on the 9th that it will implement a two-week price limit on gasoline and diesel, which will last until the 23rd of this month. The government announced on its official social media account that the new decision will take effect on the 10th, with the retail price limit for regular gasoline set at 1.5 euros per liter, and 1.55 euros per liter for diesel. Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovi stated on the 9th that the government's top priority is to ensure stable energy supply and to maintain civilian and commercial energy prices within affordable range. On the same day, reporters in the capital Zagreb saw long lines of cars waiting to refuel near many gas stations.
