National Development and Reform Commission: Practical measures and major engineering projects will strongly support the achievement of the goals and tasks of the "14th Five-Year Plan" agenda.
The Information Office of the State Council held a press conference to interpret the draft outline of the "Fifteenth Five-Year Plan." Zheng Bei, Deputy Director of the National Development and Reform Commission, stated at the meeting that the outline of the plan adheres to a combination of target orientation and problem orientation, comprehensive planning and highlighting key points, deploying 16 major strategic tasks in various fields and key links of economic and social development. In particular, it proposes many innovative measures such as promoting the integrated development of education, science and technology, and talents, insisting on the close connection between investment in materials and investment in people, and promoting regional coordinated development. At the same time, it puts forward 109 major projects in 6 aspects, including the Yazhou hydropower project, the new waterway of the Three Gorges water transportation, satellite internet, and a series of foundational landmark projects. These practical measures and major engineering projects will effectively support the achievement of the targets and tasks outlined in the plan.
