Over 200 hospitals in Beijing support mobile payment for medical insurance.

The Beijing Municipal Medical Insurance Bureau recently introduced that more than 200 hospitals in the city have opened the mobile payment function for medical insurance. Insured individuals can use the "Jing Tong" mini program or the hospital's own application to use this function, and settle medical insurance reimbursement expenses online in real time. Medical insurance mobile payment is applicable to in-service and retired workers, residents, and individuals who have transferred their medical insurance to this city. Since September 3, 2023, 26 hospitals in the city have opened the medical insurance mobile payment function, and the number of hospitals that have opened this function has now increased to more than 200. Insured individuals can complete the medical insurance reimbursement and real-time settlement of registration, outpatient, Internet follow-up and other expenses online by using the "Jing Tong" mini program or the hospital's own application.
