March 6th: The "Wholesale Price Index for Agricultural Products" decreased by 0.01 points compared to yesterday.

According to the monitoring of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, on March 6, the "200 Index of Wholesale Agricultural Product Prices" was 124.45, a decrease of 0.01 point from yesterday, and the "Basket of Vegetables" product wholesale price index was 126.49, a decrease of 0.01 point from yesterday. As of 14:00 today, the average price of pork in the national wholesale agricultural product market was 17.02 yuan/kg, a decrease of 1.0% from yesterday; beef was 66.39 yuan/kg, an increase of 0.3% from yesterday; mutton was 65.05 yuan/kg, an increase of 0.1% from yesterday; eggs were 7.58 yuan/kg, unchanged from yesterday; and white broiler chicken was 17.74 yuan/kg, an increase of 0.2% from yesterday. The average price of the 28 vegetables under key monitoring was 5.10 yuan/kg, a decrease of 0.4% from yesterday; and the average price of the 6 fruits under key monitoring was 8.06 yuan/kg, an increase of 0.2% from yesterday. Crucian carp was 19.86 yuan/kg, a decrease of 0.1% from yesterday; carp was 14.97 yuan/kg, an increase of 0.9% from yesterday; white carp was 10.65 yuan/kg, an increase of 3.9% from yesterday; and bighead carp was 41.84 yuan/kg, a decrease of 0.1% from yesterday. Today, among the 46 varieties of fresh agricultural products under key monitoring in the domestic wholesale market, the top five with the highest price increases compared with yesterday are zucchini, white carp, napa cabbage, shiitake mushrooms, and bananas, with increases of 4.0%, 3.9%, 2.4%, 1.9%, and 1.9% respectively; the top five with the highest price decreases are scallions, white radishes, lettuce, pumpkins, and spinach, with decreases of 3.3%, 2.2%, 2.0%, 1.9%, and 1.9% respectively.
