Ecuador's largest oil refinery enters emergency state.

On the 5th local time, the Ecuadorian state oil company announced that the country's largest refinery, the Esmeraldas Refinery, has entered an emergency state due to a fire, with the maximum period being 60 days. A loading pump at the refinery caught fire on the 1st, causing partial shutdown of operations and equipment damage. The Esmeraldas Refinery is Ecuador's largest crude oil processing center, with a daily processing capacity of 110,000 barrels of crude oil.
