Iran is preparing to counter a US ground invasion.

Local time on March 5th, according to the National Broadcasting Company of the United States, Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi said in an interview in Tehran that Iran is prepared for a ground invasion by US troops as the war launched by the US and Israel rapidly spreads throughout the region. He also refused to negotiate with the US and stated that Iran has not requested a ceasefire. Araghchi also refuted statements made by US President Trump that "it is necessary to be involved in selecting the next Supreme Leader of Iran." Araghchi emphasized, "This is entirely a matter for the Iranian people, and no one has the right to interfere."
