The fourth session of the 14th National People's Congress opened at the Great Hall of the People on the morning of the 5th. Party and state leaders including Xi Jinping attended the opening ceremony, and Premier Li Keqiang delivered a government work report. The government work report stated that 2025 is the final year of the "14th Five-Year Plan". Over the past five years, the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core has united and led the people of all ethnic groups to effectively respond to extraordinary challenges such as the pandemic, and has achieved significant new achievements in the cause of the Party and the country.
