According to Securities Times, Feng Xingya, a National People's Congress deputy, the Party Secretary, and Chairman of GAC Group, attended the National People's Congress with multiple proposals this year, covering various industry topics such as new energy vehicles, smart driving, low-altitude economy, and overseas expansion of the automotive industry. By 2025, China's automobile exports reached 7.098 million vehicles, ranking first in the world for three consecutive years. However, there are still issues such as varying global standards, high compliance costs, weak international discourse power of domestic standards, and lack of uniformity in domestic enterprise standards. Feng Xingya suggested accelerating the transformation of technological advantages into export competitiveness, forming collective strength in the industry's overseas expansion through measures such as building a compliant overseas service system, promoting alignment of Chinese standards with international standards, and strengthening coordination and uniformity of domestic enterprise standards. This will help China achieve a development leap from being an "exporting giant" to a "global industry leader". "The development of new productive forces requires the testing and support of the global market. The automotive industry needs to upgrade from 'going out' to 'going in' and 'going up', and to create Chinese car brands with global influence," Feng Xingya said.
