China Merchants Nanhai: Planning to build three new 6,600-ton stainless steel chemical ships for 4.92 billion yuan.

The announcement from China Merchants Nanoyu stated that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Nanjing Yangyang, plans to build three 6600-ton stainless steel chemical ships at a cost of 4.92 billion yuan, with tax included, in partnership with affiliated China Merchants Shipping Yangzhou Dingheng. These ships are expected to be delivered in the first half of 2028. This transaction has been approved by the 15th meeting of the 11th Board of Directors of the company, with related directors abstaining from voting, and still needs to be submitted for review by the shareholders' meeting. In the past 12 months, the company has engaged in one related transaction with the same related party, totaling 3.65 billion yuan.
