Omdia: Huawei wins the top spot in China's 2025 mobile phone sales.

Market research firm Omdia released a report today showing that the global smartphone shipments reached 1.25 billion units in 2025, a 2% year-on-year increase, hitting a new high since 2021. The 2025 China market shipment rankings are as follows: Huawei topped the list with a 17% market share, with shipments increasing by 2% year-on-year; vivo ranked second with a 16% market share, with shipments decreasing by 7% year-on-year; Apple ranked third with a 16% market share, with shipments increasing by 7% year-on-year; Xiaomi ranked fourth with a 15% market share, with shipments increasing by 4% year-on-year.
