Sichuan Nanchong has introduced six measures to stabilize the scale of new births. Parents can receive a maximum of 150,000 yuan in housing subsidies if they have a second or third child.

On March 2nd, Nanchong City, Sichuan Province officially released the "Six Measures for Stabilizing the Scale of Newborn Population in Nanchong City". In reducing the costs of "marriage, childbirth, raising, and education", Nanchong took the lead in exploring the inclusion of marriage support in the policy system in the province. For couples who register for marriage for the first time within the city, Nanchong will provide a one-time personal housing consumption loan with a 1% financial interest subsidy based on the loan amount, with the maximum loan amount eligible for interest subsidy being 200,000 yuan. This means that for young people getting married and buying a house, the government will help share a portion of the mortgage interest. It is worth noting that Nanchong's housing subsidies are not limited to residential properties, but also cover commercial office spaces, shops, and parking spaces. Additionally, families who give birth to a second or third child and have their newborn's household registration in Nanchong City during the policy period can receive a housing subsidy of 50,000 yuan and 100,000 yuan respectively, with a maximum cumulative subsidy of up to 150,000 yuan.
