The survey, conducted shortly after the US and Israel launched military strikes against Iran on February 28, showed that 59% of respondents did not support military action against Iran. 39% of people believe that the United States did not make diplomatic efforts to resolve the issue first, and only 27% of people believe that the United States had made diplomatic efforts before taking military action against Iran. The majority of those surveyed expressed doubts about President Trump's handling of the situation with Iran. 60% of respondents believe that Trump does not have a clear plan, and 62% of respondents believe that he should obtain congressional approval for any further military action. According to a survey conducted by Reuters and Ipsos Group on March 1, 43% of Americans oppose the US and Israel launching attacks against Iran, 29% are uncertain, and only 27% of respondents approve.
