Shenzhen issues guidelines for the implementation of subsidies for the trade-in of old for new household appliances, digital and smart products in 2026.
The Shenzhen Municipal Bureau of Commerce issued the "Implementation Guidelines for Trade-in and Subsidies for Home Appliances, Digital and Smart Products in Shenzhen in 2026". It proposes that individual consumers who purchase 1st level energy-efficient or water-efficient refrigerators, washing machines, televisions, air conditioners, water heaters, and computers will receive a subsidy of 15% of the final sales price after various discounts. Each consumer can receive a subsidy for 1 item per category, with each subsidy not exceeding 1500 yuan. Individual consumers who purchase mobile phones, tablets, smart watches, and smart glasses with a single retail price of no more than 6000 yuan will also receive a subsidy. The subsidy will be 15% of the final sales price after various discounts, with each consumer eligible for a subsidy of 1 item per category, not exceeding 500 yuan per item.
