Violent conflict in northern South Sudan has now resulted in the death toll rising to 169 people.

On March 2nd local time, the Ministry of Information, Communication Technology, and Postal Services of South Sudan issued an official statement stating that the violent conflict incident that occurred in Abiemhom County in northern South Sudan on March 1st has now resulted in 169 deaths and 68 injuries.
