Shipping giant Maersk announced on Sunday that due to the situation in the Middle East, it plans to reroute ships on its Middle East-India to Mediterranean and Middle East-India to US East Coast routes around the Cape of Good Hope. The shipping giant added that it will temporarily suspend ships from crossing the Suez Canal and continue to accept bookings for cargo bound for the Middle East region.
