Former Party Secretary and General Manager Fang Ping of Anhui Energy Group was expelled from the party.

According to the Anhui Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision, recently, with the approval of the Anhui Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China, the Anhui Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision has launched an investigation into the serious disciplinary and legal issues of Fang Ping, former party secretary and general manager of the Anhui Energy Group. After investigation, it was found that Fang Ping had lost his ideals and beliefs, betrayed his original aspirations and missions, resisted organizational investigations; violated the spirit of the Central Eight-point Regulations, illegally accepted gifts and consumption cards; went against organizational principles and did not truthfully explain issues during organizational conversations; breached the bottom line of integrity, engaged in business and enterprise management in violation of regulations; used his position to seek benefits for others in enterprise restructuring, equity investment, and illegally accepted large sums of money. Fang Ping has seriously violated the party's political discipline, organizational discipline, integrity discipline, and life discipline, constituting a serious violation of duties and suspected of bribery crimes. He has not corrected his behavior since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, and his actions have had a serious and negative impact. Therefore, he should be dealt with severely. In accordance with relevant regulations such as the "Regulations on the Discipline of the Communist Party of China," the "Supervision Law of the People's Republic of China," and the "Public Servants' Administrative Penalties Law of the People's Republic of China," the Anhui Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision, after discussion in a meeting of the standing committee, has decided to expel Fang Ping from the party, revoke his benefits, confiscate his ill-gotten gains, and transfer his suspected criminal offenses to the judicial organs for legal review and prosecution. All assets involved will also be transferred accordingly.
