On March 1st, Pony.ai responded that, after communicating with local regulatory authorities, its Robotaxi fleets in the United Arab Emirates (Abu Dhabi) and Saudi Arabia (Riyadh) are operating normally for public commercial services. The Robotaxi fleet in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, is temporarily suspended and waiting for further notice. On February 28th, the United States and Israel launched military strikes against Iran, affecting multiple cities in the United Arab Emirates. Prior to this, Chinese autonomous driving technology companies Pony.ai, RoboRun, and Xiaoma ZhiXing all planned to operate Robotaxi unmanned driving services in the United Arab Emirates.
