Air China announced that, due to the influence of the situation in the relevant regions, in order to assist passengers in better arranging their travels, a special ticket handling plan for flights to and from Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Riyadh operated by Air China has been released. The specific details are as follows:
1. Applicable conditions: Tickets must meet all three of the following points: purchased or reissued with a new ticket number starting with "999" by 8:00 PM on February 28, 2026; the travel date on the ticket is between February 28, 2026 and March 15, 2026 for flights to and from Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Riyadh operated by Air China and codeshare flights with CA flight numbers; request for ticket changes or refunds made after 12:00 AM on February 28, 2026.
2. Ticket change and refund rules: If you are unsure of your new travel dates, please contact the original ticketing channel, Air China's customer service hotline at 95583, or a ticketing office to cancel the ticket reservation before the scheduled departure time. After determining the new travel dates, follow the rules below for ticket changes or refunds. For ticket changes, the first change within the ticket validity period is free of charge, but you will need to pay the fare difference for different booking classes and high and low season surcharges. Subsequent changes must comply with the ticket usage conditions. For refunds, you can request a refund for unused segments within the ticket validity period without incurring a refund fee. Tickets that have been changed in accordance with this notice will need to follow the ticket usage conditions for refunds. For changes of itinerary or transfer of tickets, it is recommended to first refund the original ticket before purchasing a new one.
