The United States maintains a Level 3 travel warning for Israel, authorizing non-essential personnel to leave.
On February 27th, local time, the US State Department issued a statement updating the travel warnings for Israel, the West Bank, and Gaza, with the warning level remaining at level 3 "reconsider travel". The State Department of the United States stated that, due to local security risks, "out of caution", non-essential US government personnel and their family members have been authorized to leave Israel. The State Department of the United States also stated that, due to security incidents, the US Embassy in Israel may further restrict or prohibit US government employees and their families from traveling to certain areas of Israel, the Old City of Jerusalem, and the West Bank of the Jordan River without advance notice. The statement also mentioned that individuals may consider leaving Israel if commercial flights are still available.
