The UK 30-year government bond yield fell by approximately 12 basis points this week.
At the end of the European market on Friday, the yield on the 10-year UK government bond fell by 4.4 basis points, hitting a daily low of 4.231%. It has dropped a total of 12.1 basis points for the week. From February 25th to 27th, the yield on the 2-year UK bond continued to decline by 2.5 basis points, reaching 3.525%, and has fallen by 5.5 basis points for the week. The yield on the 30-year UK bond dropped by 3.6 basis points to 5.040%, down 11.7 basis points for the week; the yield on the 50-year UK bond dropped by 2.9 basis points to 4.612%, down 9.7 basis points for the week. The 2/10-year UK bond yield spread decreased by 1.774 basis points to +70.545 basis points, falling by 6.788 basis points for the week.
