Yu Xin Bank will increase the average bonus for senior executives by about 15% after achieving record profits.
According to reports, UniCredit Bank in Italy is preparing to increase the average bonus of its top executives by about 15% after achieving record profits and improving shareholder returns last year. Sources familiar with the matter said that this adjustment applies to the bonus pool for so-called substantial risk-takers. This group consists of approximately 850 people, typically including traders, investment banking traders, and senior management. The sources also stated that UniCredit Bank plans to increase the average bonus for non-executives and branch staff by 17%, but there will be differences based on country, position, and individual performance levels. The sources requested anonymity due to discussing confidential information. The bonus pool for substantial risk-takers is estimated to be around 152 million euros, with an increase of approximately 18 million euros compared to 2024, calculated on a comparable basis. The bonuses for the CEO and members of the Executive Committee will be paid out 100% in the form of stock.
