Dubai Aerospace will acquire aircraft leasing company Macquarie AirFinance for $7 billion.

On February 26, Emirates Aerospace Company announced that it has signed a final agreement to acquire aviation leasing company Macquarie AirFinance for an enterprise value of about $7 billion. DAE stated that this acquisition will expand the company's fleet to over 1000 aircraft and drive further integration in the jet aircraft financing industry.
