JD Announces New Patent for Navigation for Robots

According to the Qichacha APP, recently, JD Tech Information Technology Co., Ltd. applied for the disclosure of a patent titled "Navigation method, device, robot, and computer-readable medium for robots". The patent abstract shows that one specific implementation of the method includes: determining the target observation point based on the current navigation information; determining the line of sight information towards the target observation point for each candidate motion trajectory in the obtained candidate motion trajectory group; selecting a candidate motion trajectory from the candidate motion trajectory group based on the determined line of sight information; generating a target motion trajectory based on the selected candidate motion trajectory, and navigating according to the target motion trajectory. This implementation is related to intelligent robots and helps to achieve active safety protection and smooth obstacle avoidance during robot navigation.
