New version of the ambient air quality standards released, further tightening the limit value of PM2.5 concentration.

The new "Air Quality Standards" were officially released yesterday. According to the new standards, the annual average concentration of PM2.5 has been tightened from the current 35 micrograms per cubic meter to 25 micrograms per cubic meter, and the annual average concentration of PM10 has been tightened from 70 micrograms per cubic meter to 50 micrograms per cubic meter. The annual average concentration of sulfur dioxide has been tightened from 60 micrograms per cubic meter to 20 micrograms per cubic meter, and the annual average concentration of nitrogen dioxide has been tightened from 40 micrograms per cubic meter to 30 micrograms per cubic meter. The analysis methods for relevant pollutants, standard supporting technical specifications, and the scope of environmental function zone class one have been adjusted or revised accordingly.
