On February 24th, it was learned from the Shaanxi Provincial Department of Commerce that during the Spring Festival holiday, the province's consumer market operated smoothly, with an adequate supply of daily necessities, and the trade-in promotion continued to show results, with a variety of promotional activities. The consumer market remained active. Monitoring data from 570 retail and catering sample enterprises in the province showed that during the Spring Festival holiday, retail sales of enterprises amounted to 1.852 billion yuan, an increase of 7.41% year-on-year; key retail enterprises such as Huolian SKP, Shazhichuan, and Box Horse Technology saw increases in sales of 30.29%, 14.21%, and 7.85% respectively. The income of catering enterprises was 210 million yuan, an increase of 10.76% year-on-year. The results of the trade-in promotion were obvious. Shaanxi guided cities to increase subsidies for consumer goods trade-in promotions, focusing on offline entities and rural areas, stimulating consumption to the tune of 516 million yuan during the holiday period. "As of February 22nd, a total of 757,200 items have been traded in for new items in the province, driving consumption worth 5.4 billion yuan," said a relevant person from the Provincial Department of Commerce.
