During peak hours, the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong high-speed rail operates 30 trains per hour, with an average of one train every two minutes. At the same time, celebrating Chinese New Year in China has become a new trend for many foreign tourists. Data shows that during the 2026 Spring Festival, Shenzhen was the top among the five most popular destinations in Guangdong for overseas tourists, with a 31% increase in inbound tourism orders. On Chinese New Year's Day, China officially implemented a visa-free policy for travelers holding ordinary passports from Canada and the UK, and major ports in Shenzhen also saw a peak in foreign tourist arrivals.
