The China Earthquake Administration has initiated a Level IV emergency response service in response to the 4.6-magnitude earthquake in Yingjiang County, Yunnan Province.
The China Earthquake Administration officially determined that a 4.6-magnitude earthquake occurred in Yingjiang County, Dehong Prefecture, Yunnan Province at 11:15 on February 25, 2026, with a depth of 10 kilometers. After the earthquake, the China Earthquake Administration quickly activated a level four emergency response, coordinating with the China Earthquake Network Center and Yunnan Provincial Earthquake Administration to carry out emergency response work. They requested relevant units to conduct joint consultations, strengthen earthquake monitoring and post-earthquake trend analysis, and promptly report relevant information. The Yunnan Provincial Earthquake Administration has dispatched an on-site working group to the earthquake-stricken area to assist the local government in conducting on-site emergency response work.
