Chinese Embassy in Angola: Do not believe the rumor that "Angola is full of gold".

On February 25, the Chinese Embassy in Angola issued a reminder about the need to view the issue of work visas in Angola rationally: For some time, the Angolan Immigration Department has been carrying out actions to combat illegal immigration, resulting in the detention, fines, and deportation of some foreign nationals, including those from neighboring countries, for illegal entry, residence, and employment. There have also been a few Chinese citizens who have been punished for illegal residence, lack of or misuse of work visas. The Embassy has repeatedly reminded Chinese companies and citizens in Angola to abide by relevant laws including the Angolan Foreign Nationals Regime Law and Labor Law, to work legally, and to conduct business lawfully. The Embassy has also communicated with the relevant authorities in Angola on several occasions regarding these issues, and once again reminds Chinese companies and citizens to view the issue of work visas in Angola rationally.
