On February 24, Liu Taizong, Deputy Director of the Intellectual Property Prosecution Department of the Supreme People's Procuratorate, revealed during an interview with the Chief Prosecutor for the year 2026 that from January to November 2025, the national procuratorial organs handled a total of 1,434 cases of various copyright infringement, prosecuting 915 cases involving 1,795 individuals.
