On February 24, Wang Chuang, the chief of the second civil division of the Supreme People's Court, stated at a press conference that in 2025, the national courts accepted 6.791 million first instance civil and commercial cases, an increase of 22% compared to the previous year; and concluded 6.536 million cases, an increase of 18.9% compared to the previous year. The quality and efficiency of judicial trials continue to improve, and the ability of judicial services to support economic and social development is steadily increasing.
