India once again urges its citizens in Iran to leave as soon as possible.

The Indian Embassy in Iran recommended on the 23rd that Indian citizens currently in Iran should leave as soon as possible using all available means of transportation. The embassy issued a notice on the same day, stating that in light of the escalating tensions between the United States and Iran, it is advisable for Indian citizens in Iran, including students, pilgrims, business people, and tourists, to depart using existing transportation methods, including commercial flights. The Indian Ministry of External Affairs had issued a travel advisory on January 14, advising Indian citizens to avoid traveling to Iran. The Indian Embassy in Iran also issued a notice on the same day, urging Indian citizens in Iran to depart as soon as possible.
