TikTok life service Spring Festival data: sales of intangible cultural heritage performing arts increased by 117%
On February 23, Douyin Life Services released the 2026 Spring Festival consumption data. From February 14th to February 22nd, driven by the hot trends of "reunion" and "cultural tourism for the Spring Festival", various types of consumption such as intangible cultural heritage experiences, dining in restaurants, leisure and entertainment, out-of-town accommodation, folk tourism, sports and fitness, etc. saw significant growth. The data shows that compared to the same period last year, orders for Douyin's reunion dinner set meals during this year's Spring Festival period increased by 216%, and the sales of "intangible cultural heritage + market" group purchases increased by as much as 764%. The sales of group purchases in third-tier cities and below increased by 66%, showing a diverse upgrade and a widespread enthusiasm in the new spring consumption market.
