On February 21, the 40-day 2026 Spring Festival travel rush has passed the halfway mark. According to the Ministry of Transport on the 22nd, a total of 5.08 billion people have traveled across regions in the first 20 days of the Spring Festival. Specifically, the total number of people traveling by road reached 4.755 billion, railway passenger volume reached 258 million, waterway passenger volume reached 19.992 million, and civil aviation passenger volume reached 475.16 million.
