On February 21st, Zhipu released a GLM Coding Plan apology letter and announced the handling and compensation plan. Zhipu stated that the main mistakes made in this update were: insufficient rule transparency, slow GLM-5 grayscale rhythm, and rough design of the old user upgrade mechanism. Zhipu explained that after the release of GLM-5, the traffic exceeded expectations and the company's expansion pace did not keep up, so they had to gradually open GLM-5 in the order of Max, Pro, and Lite. Currently, Max users have been fully opened, Pro users have been opened, but may encounter traffic restrictions during peak periods due to high cluster loads, and Lite users will gradually open in grayscale after the holiday non-peak period. For affected Lite and Pro users, the company supports self-application for refunds.
