According to Yantai Maritime Bureau, due to the impact of the cold wave and strong winds, the inter-provincial passenger ships from Shandong Yantai to Liaoning Dalian are scheduled to suspend operations at 15:00 on the 21st, and are expected to resume operations after the wind weakens in the morning of the 22nd. Yantai Maritime Search and Rescue Center issued a yellow warning for high sea wind risks on the 20th. According to the forecast, the maximum wind force in the sea area of Yantai to Dalian route will be at level 6 to 7 on the morning of the 21st, level 7 to 8 in the middle of the night on the 21st, and level 6 to 7 on the morning of the 22nd. In response to this round of strong winds, the Yantai Maritime Bureau has initiated a level two defense response, with 2 professional rescue ships and 2 professional rescue helicopters in the jurisdiction ready for emergency preparation, to ensure rapid and efficient handling of various sudden dangerous situations.
