On February 20th local time, the Slovak Ministry of Economy stated that Ukraine has informed the Slovak pipeline transportation company that the date for resuming oil supply to Slovakia via the "Druzhba" oil pipeline will be delayed again until February 24th, but "Ukraine has not provided any explanation for this delay." The Slovak Ministry of Economy said that Slovakia is seeking alternative solutions, especially by importing oil through the Adria Pipeline in the Adriatic Sea, and is also preparing for additional fuel supply from the Czech Republic through reverse oil transportation, ensuring that the domestic fuel supply market in Slovakia is not affected for the time being.
