Beijing Meteorological Bureau issued a yellow alert for strong winds at 16:30 on February 20th: It is expected that from noon on February 21st to the evening of the 22nd, most areas of Beijing will experience winds of about Force 4 from the north, with gusts of about Force 8. In mountainous areas, gusts can reach Force 11 or higher. Specifically, from the evening of the 21st to the early morning of the 22nd will be the period of strongest winds, with gusts of Force 8 or 9 in the plains and gusts of Force 11 or higher in some mountainous areas, accompanied by dust storms.
