The aviation industry ETF fell nearly 4%, leading the decline in US stock industry ETFs.

On Thursday, global aviation industry ETFs fell by 3.98%, while financial industry ETFs, consumer discretionary ETFs, banking industry ETFs, and semiconductor ETFs dropped by 0.84%-0.57%. Technology industry ETFs, internet stock index ETFs, and global technology stock index ETFs fell by up to 0.5%, while energy industry ETFs rose by 0.73% and utility ETFs rose by 1.10%. Among the 11 sectors of the S&P 500 index, financial, consumer discretionary, and information technology/technology sectors fell by at least 0.53%, while the energy sector rose by 0.64%, the industrial sector rose by 0.77%, and the utility sector rose by 1.13%.
