Barclays survey: Google is expected to lead the way in bond issuance among mega-scale cloud service providers this year.
According to a survey released by Barclays on Thursday, Google's parent company, Alphabet, is expected to lead the issuance of bonds this year among super-sized cloud service providers, followed by Amazon and Meta. Earlier this month, Alphabet raised nearly $32 billion in less than 24 hours through bond issuances denominated in pounds, francs, and dollars. The company also issued an extremely rare 100-year bond. According to compiled data, this marks the first time since the dot-com bubble era that a technology company has issued bonds with such a long maturity.
